Any Advice On Local SEO

I have ranked a few niche sites in the past, was wondering how much different doing local seo is.

Looking to start a service in my area and have done some research on competitors.

Whats working now looking to rank for terms like "pressure washing in houston" "pressure washing companies in houston"

Should I make blog post that link back to my home page?
PBNs?
I've heard some talk of buying citations from pbnbutler..

Talk to me warriors...

    Make sure you have a physical address. Make sure the address is on your website.

    Create a Google My Business Page.

    Build citations. Yext is the best option for that. Gets you into a lot of directories you can only get into through Yext.

    Solicit local businesses and directories for links.

    That is a pretty good start. Do all of that and see where you land.

    Get the site in local directories, in trade directories.

    Get the keyword on the page in all the right places.

    For some local businesses that's enough. For others, you also need backlinks.

    Apart from citations, it's not different from other SEO... If you're dealing with cities like Chicago or Houston and car insurance, it's hard. If you're dealing with Daytona Beach and bakeries, it's easy...

    Don't forget Schema markup for local business besides of other pps said. 100% On-page. This will make most of the thing and when you will put off-page, you will be really good.

Create unique and user friendly content for your readers to engage them. I hope this will effect for local SEO. Because you already done research on your competitors so its not so hard for you to take a track for better traffic.
