Website not ranking in Google

I have a website that has been live for more than 2 years in US and have now launched another version in.example.com for India. Webmaster shows that all the India pages that have been submitted are indexed but I can't see my website in Google SERPS for any of my products or keywords not even for the long tail keywords.

The time element plays a key role here. Also, based on the volume of optimized, flat out helpful content, and links in, it may take some networking and value sharing legwork to pop up on SERPS.

Do you run a blog on the site? Do so, if not. Google loves fresh, relevant, helpful content.

I couldn't implement hreflang tag due to some limitations. could that be the reason?

Have you write new content on your website..?
Google crawl new content of the website on the SERPS. Have you done proper On-Page SEO.

1) Post few fresh content in your blog
2) Share them to social media channels
3) Ping your blog to search engine
4) Try Fetch as Google in webmaster

Once Google index your blog posts, It will also index your home page.

How important is seo optimisation I'm just learning and have 2 websites www.on-pointmanagement.com & www.on-pointmanagementshop.com I'm not sure how you check how good it is and would love some advice on what to do to get a steady flow of traffic. Very knowledgeable on other parts but marketing not high on my skills list
