What is the reason for decline in my website ranking?

Hi,

My website had a very good ranking earlier but due to some issues from the developers end caused a decline 8n the ranking. Reason being the changes in htaccess. The issues has already been resolved and my website has also been cached by Google but there are still no improvments in the ranking. Kindly give your valuable suggestions to raise back the ranking.

    Could be the following reasons:
    Increase in comptation
    New keywords on landing pages
    CPC
    More conversion rates
    Organic traffic

    Maybe it has been hit by any algorithm changes from Google. Many webmasters are facing these problems right now.

      I don't think this is an algorithm effect. My website was a single page website earlier and after I added few more pages suddenly the ranking dropped due to some Htaccess issues. If there is any Algorithm issues how can I check and fix it. Kindly suggest any tool to check Algorithm issues if it is in your knowledge.
