If you want to promote your website and the website is E-commerce then the best option is to go for PPC advertising or any advertising way to promote more your website. you can also use Facebook pixel.

Maybe you should do your SEO with other tools
I use SerpStat. It' good for small business
and if I'm not mistaken it's the tool made by seo agency, check this info, maybe they'll help you

The only thing that will show up in Search Console are manual actions that Google has inflicted upon your website. It does not show any algorithmic penalties your site may be suffering from.

All links are not created equal and no tool works as well as the human brain for determining if you really DO have the same quality and quantity of backlinks as your competitor. Likely, his are from more related sites, higher authority sites (or both) and his content may be better than yours, too.

Keep working on improving the quality of your site, making it better and more helpful than all of the other sites in your niche. It's much easier to get great backlinks when you are the best.

You need to follow these techniques:
Quality content, on page SEO, Keywords research, select long tail keywords and use LSI keywords, create high quality backlinks for both your domain and posts URLs.

For an E-Commerce website only backlinks won't work. Social media is the real key to generate leads for e-commerce sites. First set a target audience and plan a killer social media plan accordingly. Also make sure to reduce bounce rate of your site it helps boost traffic.

would your site design is purely opted for business than also it get effects. Try to get some quality backlinks through PR. Do check the content quality of your site with your competitors. Guest posts may not work as you are an e-commerce site. Focus on quality content and update your site periodically. Social media works very good, But at the same time you have to make it such a way user attractive. PPC also works well.

:-) You can further improve your ranking by retaining customers on your website (bounce rate) and increase visitors. These are the 2 main factors that will affect your ranking assuming your on-page and off-page SEO have been done pretty well. Also, there are many ways you can achieve your goals such as blog about your products, create content in FB, post articles and so on.

Why would you limit advertising a site/page because you want to do SEO for the same page?

SEO is not the only source of traffic on the web, matter of fact it's a very small percentage of potential traffic.
