  • It's not about the theme. It's about visitor intentions and the niche.

All in One Adsense and YPN Plugin works just fine. By placing Adsense within the content of your articles you get better more accurate results. Plus it's simple to test location, colors, and sizes.

Many MFA Themes place blocks of code on pages like category pages that do not generate clicks only impressions as people pass them by to get to the content.

The Zombie Sniper theme I mentioned previously comes with detailed instructions on what colors to use for your Adsense placement. It also has a bunch of backend controls that make it super-easy to Automate your Adsense display.

The theme itself is laid out in a color scheme that aggressively pushes people to want to click, click, click. It was made from the ground up to be SEO friendly and drop-dead simple to implement.

I read somewhere that having an ugly theme is better for adsense clicks since the visitor hates the site and will exit it by clicking on an ad. Any merit to this?

    I agree with this.

    Hello buck,
Although, the designs are good for the eyes but the first most important thing is the keyword and a good content, to get the readers attention to you. Thus, getting more traffic and so on... Designs just comes in second.
You'll never have a good rank if your basing it with themes.
    I hope you'll learn something...
    Thanks.
