Hello,

I'm investigating the option of buying different country codes like .nl .be .de to be part in a affiliate redirect idea.

Will this work:

You have an amazing famous website like straweberry.com where they have an affiliate program.

I buy straweberry.ch and redirect it to straweberry.com/ref12931203

Will my straweberry.ch rank in for this example Swiss?

You can certainly buy and redirect them if you are targeting the audience from the respective country.

Well i'm hoping to get traffic using the same domain but with different country code.
And hoping that one will rank so in that case the country has about 10mil. people living in it. And the website is targeting on european market.

And i was wondering if it is going to rank and be visable.

I don't think so, You must be targeting on local audience and submit your website on local business directory as well.

No, it won't rank just because you own a ccTLD.

It becomes a bit difficult to rank with different country codes from the seo point of view.

True, but i'm thinking and this is just a theory:

People go to my domain because it's exactly the same as the million dollar company at the .com

And with some luck people will use my url in the future to write blogs about etc.

I have had 6 unique visitors last 2 days from direct using the domain.
