Will I lose all my backlinks if I move from blogger.com to my own wordpress site?

I wanna start a blog on Google Blogger but after some time I'm planning to move to Wordpress. Because if I don't start now, the drawback is I will have to loose Authority (Because of the fact - Site age increases site Authority).

And you know the importance of Backlinks!

So, if I get some backlinks along the way, will I have to loose all those backlinks?

    Are you planning to change your URL in any way? If not, then you shouldn't have to worry about "losing" any backlinks that have already been built to the URL.

      Thanks for spelling "losing" correctly (man that drives me nuts!). Even if you cannot duplicate the URL from the old site to the new one, you can always do a 301 re-direct to the new ones. Google recently stated that no "juice" is lost when you do a 301 to the new URL.

    If you are using your own domain, you will be fine. If you are building it on blogger.com and then move to Wordpress.org or your own domain, yes you will lose your links.

    you must point your blogspot address to main domain and after that you can start link building.
