SEO is a log time and constant process. you can not get great result in 3 months if your competition level is too high. you have to wait for the results and go with your constant work.

You have to track things and see if you're at least showing up for some keywords and if so, see if you're at least going up some positions/pages

SEO is a very long-term strategy & it can take some time to deliver results & it is totally depend on how competitive keywords you choose. If you want immediate result I would suggest, you should go with google adwords

Hello, Digishine!
If you didn't get any results after 3 months of SEO then you should do proper keyword research using some of the keyword planner tools if you have never done keyword planning before.
While doing SEO you should mention the targeted location in Keywords and use in titles and descriptions of different submission. At last, try building more and more quality backlinks using Off-Page SEO according to the latest google guidelines.

SEO is a tough and ever changing game. I don't do it at all and I rank better. I share my content online at social media sites.. Also after fighting with Google for 14 years...I know I can't out smart them. Fighting over SERPS is more work then just building list and emailing. LOL

SEO is a long distance race and not a sprint. That said, are you targeting low competition keyword phrases?

Do you REALLY have quality content on your pages or the unreadable dreck that is on so many websites (and would you know the difference between proper English and content that provides real value, not the same old stuff you see on every website?). Are the pages actually optimized for SEO?

Are you building real, quality backlinks or easy ones that you can place yourself on other people's websites? If you can place the link yourself, IT IS WORTHLESS! You need to get real people to DECIDE that a page of your site is so good, THEY want to link to it because it helps the people who read/use their website.

All depending on the keyword phrases you are targeting, the quality of your pages and the quality of the backlinks you acquire, results could take a week, a month, 6 months, a year, two years or NEVER.

Like others have said, SEO takes a long time. If you're not getting much traffic from the search engines in 3 months, that's normal. But, that doesn't mean you can't try to track your progress and see if you need to adapt your SEO strategy.

Take a look to your keywords and see if you're moving up on Google or not. Check out your backlinks and track your progress.

What I'm trying to tell you is that just because you're not getting much traffic, it doesn't necessarily mean your SEO strategy is not working. But you need to track backlinks and keywords rankings on Google to know if you're wasting your time or not. Track everything, and adjust your SEO strategy as much as necessary.

If your SEO efforts are not improving rankings then you should make some changes in your link building methods and also make some changes in your meta tags and content of your website. You keep on changing things and eventually you will find the best combination of your website's content and link building techniques to get the best ranking for your website.

I have the same problem with my project the thing I observed when we are in hurry to acquired result so far we build excessive backlinks to gain result but Google considers it spamming. My opinion in this case, build high authority relevant backlinks and wait for results.

SEO give the results based on your keywords, if it is low you can get the result in three months, medium it will take 4-5 months, if it is a high volume keyword it will take 7-9 months, before optimization you have to plan.

Reaching Google first page depends on your niche, competition, age of domain, correct on page optimization, backlinks you have etc. First, you should check on page optimization as it is basics and includes very important ranking factors like robots.txt, titles, descriptions etc. As for backinks, look at those you have and analyze their quality: With what speed they were built? Do they come from relevant to your niche website? What are DA, PA and SB rank? What are the anchors, are they built according to natural anchor distribution formula? Does a page with a link contain proper content?

You should see some results. May be not good as you expect. For example if my site had 50 impressions per day at Google Webmaster Tools, but after SEO it gets 250 per day. It is not good (I need 10000), but better then before.
My point - you should be able to see some improvement even if results are not as good as you expect.
Google does full indexing for back links during 4-6 weeks. It is maximum delay that you can have for SEO

depend on many factors
how good is your content: web design, keyword density, in/external link
how good your competitors are
how good is your backlinks
...
you have to check Seo on/off page techniques
anyway, SEO is longterm process, even your SEO techniques are good, it can take you up to a year to see result

Seo is a long process way it doesn't mean if your ranking or your strategy take time.its depend upon your keyword if your keyword will low it take low time if your keyword medium it takes medium time. if your keyword high volume, it takes more time so post good content, and backing on high PR sites.
