How to boost Domain Authority?

Hello Warriors,

I'm trying to boost domain authority for a fashion blog, currently it looks like this:
Domain Authority - 10
Page Authority - 20
The domain age is just over 1 year.

I know one of the best ways to increase DA is with backlinks but I don't know where to start. I saw fiverr offering high quality backlinks but I have no idea how legit they are. If anyone had experience increasing their DA please let know.

    1. Why do you want to boost it? It is not a metric that any search engine uses to rank a site.
    2. The only things that increases DA is more links to the site.
    3. Fiverr links suck
    4. Any link will boost or increase the DA
    5. Why do you want to boost it? It is not a metric that any search engine uses to rank a site.

Now sits back with popcorn and waits for all the clueless morons to start posting crap about DA (threads on DA always brings them out)

Fashion blogs and related sites use DA as one of the factors when building affiliations. Thanks about clearing the fiverr question, deep inside I knew that might be the case but still remained hopeful

    No you didn't.

Fiverr is desperate junk sellers trying to fool desperate buyers. There's no fiverr backlink quality.

DA is a sales pitch and doesn't rank pages.

You need followed links from exact URLs that already have authority (established followed link profile).

Domain authority is based on a lot of factors. Primarily, however, these are link profile factors such as how many backward links are pointing to your website and how authoritative those sites are.

    Get rid of bad links.
    Gain good links.

Great stuff Nikhil, some of these already applied to the website. How would you improve internal linking structure of a website? (4th bullet point) And what determines becoming an authority within you niche? (5th bullet point)

To improve your internal linking structure you can simply link related posts together. Especially from high authority pages to lower authority ones to help pass the link juice and have them rank higher. If you're talking about a specific subject, chances are you blogged about it in another post, so you can link to it, contextually.

Additionally, improving your internal linking structure could also mean how your site is laid out. If it's easy for search engines and visitors to actually traverse your site. This is also called "siloing content". By which I mean creating content silos and an actual structure. Google that last part.

P.S. Do you have a link to your blog?

Improve internal link structure means remove broken link like 404 not found page & fix it by proper redirection.

    Hey,
I think the basic thing you need to try is speeding up your website's loading time. Websites that take too long to load have high bounce rate...visitors are impatient. Also, whatever you post (eg: blogs, articles), post frequently, and share! Quality content can really improve your website's DA. You can focus on disavowing bad links as well.
    Good luck

Awesome suggestion Olivia, thanks! What would be the best way to disavowing bad links? And how to check for them?

No it can't. Moz has no idea what the traffic of any website looks like.

You obviously have no clue what-so-ever what is used in the DA calculations! Most of that list have nothing to do with DA!

Yep; another totally useless idiot on DA

Yet another clueless post. Bounce rate is NOT used in the DA calculations.

    hey there
good content and authority backlinks are 2 ways to do it.
i use fiverr.com backlinks in the past and it did not help me a lot..
since then i have been doing my own authority backlinks as follows:
you want backlinks from authority sites.. authority sites are sites that have been around for a while like cnn.com.....
    so
do a google search of websites in your niche....then go to these websites sign up with a free account with some of these websites then create a signature and interact with these site by posting
this is a great way of creating high pr backlinks
    ok
    talk soon

Make sure you get Fiverr backlinks if your intention is to be blacklisted from Google eventually.

Almost all of those are not used in the DA calculations. Clueless.

FFS! What a load of more f....n nonsense!

DA has NOTHING to do with "achieving good results on Google" ... Google, nor any other search engine, use DA in their ranking algorithms!

Threads on DA always bring out the totally clueless morons who do not come close to have any idea WTF they are talking about it.

It really is symptomatic of how bad the Warrior Forum has become in the quality of posters....
