Hyphen In Domain / Domain name advice ?

Hello all,

I've been asked to build and rank a driveway cleaning site in Manchester, England now the issue I have they also carry out garden maintenance work and would like their domain as diamonddgm.co.uk the dgm at the end being short for driveway and garden maintenance.

Should I run with the name above or diamond-dgm.co.uk or perhaps diamond-driveway-cleaning-manchester ( and leave the garden bit out at the end )

Will the hyphen cause an issue if using diamond-dgm.co.uk ??

Please advise, all help on this would be much appreciated as I see lots of different views on this.

    The hyphen will not cause an issue for SEO. However, it is best to keep domains simple. I would go with diamonddgm.co.uk

    I think it is better to publish domain name without hyphen. I am talking from Search engine point of view like domain: easy.gr is better than easy-domain.gr. Try to use your main keyword in domain and avoid using the unwanted characters like underscores, hyphens and other special characters.
