Hi guys,

I will be very grateful if you share your thoughts / experience about linking to multiply niche sites from same guest posts.

Let me tell you exactly what i mean.

Lets say you have 3 sites in the same niche ( no need to mention that everything is unique - e.g. hosting, whois, theme..)

The 1st site targeting: "blue widgets", 2ond: "red widgets" and 3th: "green widgets".
Since all of them are in the same niche I'm planning to order guest posts with links to all 3 websites.
Do you think that this can trigger some kind of Google flag?

P.S: I want to state that these websites are not new - they are aged and have backlinks already and the backlink profile of every of those 3 websites is highly diverse.

You might want to read this before you go too crazy guest posting. Usually, when Google issues a warning like this, the hammer falls soon thereafter. https://www.searchenginejournal.com/...-links/200038/

That is completely not true, believe me. Google announce that kind of news on a regular basis just to scare the seo's.

A good example to prove my words is the same Google announcement few years ago regarding the press releases - they said press releases are dead bla bla bla.
But a webmaster did a simple test - distributed a press release with anchor: [leasreepressmm] pointing to Mutt Cutts blog ( Google search quality lead at that time). And even today his blog ranks on 1st page for that term...

Anyway, this is not the point of the thread. I will love to hear opinions on users with some experience in linking to multiply websites from same guest posts/ articles/ pages/ urls.

Just putting it out there. Believe it or don't. Just giving folks the information because there are also plenty of instances of their warnings coming to fruition.

Here is the question you have to ask yourself: Do you care if Google knows that the same entity owns those 3 websites?

If you do, then I would definitely stay away from that strategy because you are pretty much announcing it to the world if you post multiple articles linking to all 3.

If you don't, then it is not as much of a concern. I would probably still avoid it because having multiple articles out there that all link to the exact same 3 websites does look a bit suspicious.

It is riskier. Only you can decide what your risk tolerance is on this.

You also have to look at the context of the backlink site.
    • Do they advertise backlinks to the public?
    • Is the entire backlink site relevant, including outbound links?

I had tried to post an article with link of all my site and more inside, like a summary about the niche. It's ok in my case, but I don't do it too much.
