GMB (Google My Business) Listing - Time it takes for SEO to show results?

How long does it take to see improved rankings/results if you optimize an unoptimized GMB Listing?

Is it faster than SEO for websites which can take a couple of month if not longer.

    What did you do to "optimize" it?

    Changes on a GMB listing really have minimal effect. That is not to say that they have none, but unless your competition is extremely weak, you won't see much of an impact.

    What really drives local results is citations.

      The listing I am talking about was an unclaimed 100% unoptimized listing in an area with medium competition (city with 50k people).
      What I did after claiming and verifying the listing:
      - Filled the entire profil with information (hours open, catchment area, pictures...) and I also added a couple more categories.
      - Than I did a couple citations (more than the top 3 listings have)
      - and got some positive reviews (yet less than the competition).

      It's only been a couple days but I haven't noticed any changes yet.
      Compaired to the competition we should have a strong listing = more information filled, more pictures, more ciations and also soon more positive reviews.

      I am just wondering if it will take a longer time to see any results like if you optimize a website or if results should come faster.

    It could take a couple of weeks. Maybe longer.

    All that stuff that you filled out though really does not make a huge difference in rankings. I've seen listings with none of that stuff outranking everyone still.

    I also have yet to see any actual evidence that images make a difference.
