Does Google Rank by Website or Webmaster?

Hey guys, I've been a silent browser on this forum for awhile, but recently came across a question I couldn't find an answer to.

I'm involved in CPA affiliate marketing and have a couple different websites. One of them is well established and gets a decent amount of organic search engine traffic. Another one is brand new.

My question is: Does having an established website that google likes and trusts help your new website rank if both websites are listed under the same webmaster/account. They are also listed in the same analytics account as well as listed as brands under the same google+ account/youtube channel account etc.

So, in my opinion it's very obvious to google that the different websites are coming from the same source. Do they take that into consideration? Or is each new website on its own no matter what?

The reason I ask this is because my newer website seems to be ranking way faster on everything than my older one. Maybe this is simply because I'm more experienced and know what ranks a website now and what doesn't.

Anyways, input is appreciated!

According to my opinion, it is not truth that sharing with some quality website under same webmaster account be fruitful for any website. You are handling different websites from same account, it is just an easy way for monitoring from user end, not from Google end; Google does not consider that from which account site is coming and give ranking depending upon it. Separate website will be judged in separate way. How many quality backlinks the websites has, does the site using unique content or what types of keywords is the site using, your site is properly optimized or not; depending all these things Google will decide that it will like your site or not.

Each website are on their own. Separate sites are considered separately in the Google's SERP's.

And your new site is ranking faster is just because of you and nothing else.

I don't think linking a popular site with an unpopular site in Google Search Console helps at all.

I have some sites listed with tens of thousands of visitors per month, and other sites with 3 or 4 people a day in my account.

The main determining factor of success is the quality of content, and number of links, to my high performing sites.
