Hi guys,

I was wondering if reddit can be used to create backlinks, because opensite explorer showed that one of the market leaders in my industry is getting a backlinkf from reddit.

    Sure it can. Probably be a pretty worthless link though unless you can get one on a really good page.

    There have been pranks on a few subreddits where they post an image and then upvote the hell out of it so that it'll rank on Google, so I'd imagine if you post your link and it gets a lot of upvotes then it'd be a positive ranking signal.

      Hi, thanks!

      First of all i am not yet a member of reddit, since i live in the Netherlands, and thought reddit is more for the UK. But, if i find for instance, a health sub-reddit. And post one of my blogpost there about testosteron. It is written in dutch but i can add a translate button to it. The content is high quality. Do, you think this might work. Or should i post things like motivational post?

    Reddit is not only for generating backlinks, it is also for great amount of traffic if your content is having the current trending news or articles. but handling reddit for generating backlinks is very important. if you continuously post or posting irrelevant post in subreddit would cause your karma or your account will get ban.
