the same way that you would increase the now hiddden pagerank that Google uses - getting links from pages that have it.

most automated link building either utilize pages that have no significant "link juice" or pages that have so many links on it that your link will be insignificant as well (requiring more links which ups the spam scores).

    SO think -

content marketing where you create content and market it to people who will then link to it (hit and miss)

Email outreach - where you contact webmasters and negotiate or ask for a link. You increase the possibility by reaching out to related sites to your niche and building relationships.

Buy links - broadly against google's TOS but be advised when doing email outreach above you will find some webmasters requiring payment. Some small professional (and a scarce few large) directories are acceptable and some require a form of payment (like in legal directories).

leverage professional associations like sites where you do business with or business through. eg suppliers if you supply to organizations, local business directories or business societies - some charities, partners etc. In your case if the products you sell has suppliers and they have websites you may get a link as a distributor or supplier. Another source is your customers looking at their email addresses and seeing which ones reflect a domain name indicating they have a site

then there are a couple greyhat strategies of which the primary one that has significant juice would be whats known as a PBN (Private Blog Networks) where you buy sites with juice and direct links to your site to increase Pagerank (which should tend to be seen in increase in Trustflow - but being a third party simulation of what google does is not exact to Pagerank which Google uses). Being a grey to Black hat strategy in Google's eyes this is open to some risk of penalties...more so if not done right or if you utilize what really are public blog networks (which confusingly are called Private Blog Networks by the sellers of such services)

I might have missed one or two but these are the primary ways.

Along with what Mike said, I would also focus on why you want to increase Trust Flow. If you think that just increasing TF will improve your rankings, it won't. Or at least not directly. If your rankings also improve, that is just a coincidence.

TF is not a metric used by search engines.

I'm more interested in the TF of pages I might put links on to get a general picture of if they are worthwhile or not than I ever am of the TF of my own pages.

From what Mike says, it sounds like the measure of your own TF reflects the quality of the links pointing to it. So the higher the better I guess.

Just remember, that is based on what Majestic is saying are good links. It doesn't mean Google sees it the same way. It doesn't transfer directly to rankings. TF doesn't take into account things like relevancy, anchor relevancy, link age, etc.

Plus Google often knows of a lot more links (good and bad) than Majestic will ever find.

Like I said, I wouldn't focus on the TF of your own page you are trying to rank. If it goes up, you might see a ranking increase. You might not.

I understand using TF to judge the authority of a page you might want to get a link from, but focusing on increasing the TF of your own page, thinking that it is going to bring a ranking benefit, is mostly a waste of time.

The correlation is loose because Trustflow is not Google's Pagerank. To Mike's point no one over at google is looking at Trustflow they are looking at Pagerank.

However outside the offices of google Pagerank is hidden so its meaningless to the public. No one else has access to it. We only have access to services like Majestic that crawl the web and detect links similar to how googlebot does. take it as a general simulation where we can't get the exact reality anymore. Useful in the absence of Pagerank? I think so - its all we have even if not the Pagerank we don't have.

When I see questions like yours I don't quible about saying you want to increase trustflow. I get that you are trying to rank not just get a number and thats how you express it. besides that MikeF and I are not that far apart.

I will say this about reliability to reality of avaialable metrics. IF Majestic, Moz and ahrefs metrics are all showing low figures (10 and below) you almost always have an issue with not getting good links. One alone can be fooled but the coverage over all of them put together is rarely fooled and I say that evaluating over years thousands upon thousands of domains and sites.

on the other hand I have seen dog weak sites sometimes get high trustflow - best use of the metrics we have is looking at all of them
