Google Business Registration

Hi friends

If I don't register in Google Business will that effect my rankings? One more question if we do link building from same IP Range will google penalize our site? We have created 750 links last month.... But nothing happened...No change in the rankings.

      Yes, Mr. Santosh, Mr. Ajay is right. It's not effects your Rankings but if you don't register your business or brand locally so you can't get mature leads or inquiries.     You said you created 750 links, are they high quality links? If not this may be why you haven't seen great results, something to consider.

    The part of the question that is the big red flag to me is that you "built" 750 backlinks to your website in just a month. Although I'm sure something like that MIGHT naturally happen for a widely known website like Amazon or Wikipedia, I'm sure it is not very natural for a relatively obscure website like yours probably is.

    Were all of these editorially placed links (the website owner had to make a decision to link to you, themselves) or were they the worthless ones you can place yourself? If you were able to simply place them yourself, with few exceptions, they are likely completely worthless and could actually harm your website if they are the bulk of your links and Google does a manual site review.

    Hi Your First QUestion Answer- Google Business is for Local Business owners.
    750 backlinks are too much.You need to understand that creating backlinks is one thing and getting backlinks indexed is second thing.You need to analyze that the backlinks you are creating are valued by google or not , does google indexed your backlinks or not.

    So try to focus on quality, not quantity.

    It probably will have little or no effect on your organic rankings but of course it is very likely to have an effect on your 'local' (3 pack) rankings if you are indeed a local/bricks and mortar business.

    A large percentage of the 750 links from the same IP range (I assume you mean class C subnets) may well be ignored by Google. If you mean the same IP address then this even more likely.

    Of course rankings depend on many factors not just links (although very important). Also the quality or authority of the links is very important as is the IP/Domain diversity.

    If you are hitting your site with 750 low quality links from the same or similar IP then 'no effect' is exactly what i would expect'

    I've given this link out more times than i can remember but it is always valid in these cases. You need to fully understand the basics of SEO and link building or you will likely never rank your sites or worse get them penalized. See the Moz SEO guide.       Hey, Santosh i always believe on quality work not on quantity work, I think you should also keep it in your mind.

      Come to the point and your answer is you can create many links whatever you want to create but you should know about it, first there is no limits, And make sure about some tips:
      • when you create links so they all are Do Follow sites,
      • High DA and PA they are giving backlinks or not and
      • last thing and very important Google indexed those sites or not.

      If not so your all submission could be waste of time and failures.

      It is not the number of links, it is the type of links that I am questioning. If you can place the link yourself, in most cases it is worthless. These worthless type of links would include most directories, blog comments, forum links and all the links everyone here keeps trying to "create" but then complains that there are no results.

      If you can get hundreds of REAL backlinks in a month, go for it. REAL backlinks are ones where the owner of a completely different website makes the decision to link to a page on your website. That website owner makes a conscious decision to link to your page/site, usually in an article. You CANNOT place those types of links, yourself. Someone else has to make an editorial decision to link to you.
