My site is being spam attacked (backlink building) this started in November 2016, and it has significantly dropped in the last few months. The pages they are linking to are 404 and we disavow regularly. But...
In AHREFS my site has suddenly seen a steep increase in referring pages and no increase in referring domain volume. I also can't see what these pages are in the reports on AHREFS.
Also backlinks are not being built at any quicker rate.
Client is sketching out and I can't find the report I need to show them.
