Well it is the most important task for your website to get ranked in the search engines (Google). To search keywords for your website you can go for the free tool provided by the google is "Keyword Planner".

If you can spend money then you should use paid tools for the perfect keywords relevant to your websites.

You are new in SEO, especially in keyword research.
The Keyword is the most important issue of your content. You can get traffic from search engine at the beginning if you have selected the perfect keywords.
Only high-quality article is not enough if you can not select the perfect keywords.
You can use Google Keyword Planner at the beginning. Then you can also try SEMRush and other tools later.
Here Keyword Planner is a good tool for the beginners.
You are a beginner and your site has not high authority. So it will be hard for you to rank top for high competitive keywords. You can not compete with high authority sites.
So you should select low competitive, low searches keywords, it will be really helpful if you get low competitive but high searches keywords.
After selecting your keywords, go to Google and search using your keywords, if the all the sites on the first page of search results are authority sites, you should not use these keywords. Try another one or add something new with your keywords and search again until you get the low authority sites on the first pages.
You can easily get long tail keywords using Keyword Planner. You can also use Google Search related keywords that located at the bottom of search results pages.
    Thanks, Mytechgoal.

Keyword Planner does the job well enough. You can combine it with suggestions from the Google search which are related to the keywords you typed (usually at the bottom of the search results page).
Don't overthink it, save it for the bigger challenges that are yet to come

You should also look at the keywords that your competition is ranking for that have good volume.

Look at their backlinks and the page that is ranking for the term that you want to go for.

How long, who's linking to it, what type of content is it. Try to reverse engineer it and apply what you find to your own site.

Quora is a great place to start. Yahoo Answers is good as well.

After that find some forums in your niche and see what people are talking about (especially newbies).

The OP is just a spammer, but to the rest of the members in this thread looking for keyword generation ideas, there is nothing better than running a small AdWords campaign. Throw in some broad match keywords and you will get a great list of potential keywords and much more accurate search volume data than any other tool will provide.

To search keywords for your website, use keyword planner tool so that you get the accurate keywords both long tail as well short ones.Generally, prefer to use long tail keywords as search engines crawl long tailed keywords easily & help to rank better on Google.

Do some R&D with Google Keyword Planner and continue with it. Also you can come with one of other best tools such as Spyfu and SEMrush tools. Both are good for competitor keywords analysis.

The basis of every SEO strategy is keyword research. If you want more traffic, better conversions, higher search engine rankings you should highly focused on keywords.
keywords are the terms that a people use when searching for something on internet.
Determine what keywords your audience is using to describe the things you offer. It is vital that you optimize your content for the words your users are actually searching.
Use the Google AdWords Keyword Planner to determine which of the keywords you want to use are most competitive to purchase as advertising, which gives you a rough idea of how much competition there is for those keywords in organic search as well.
Decide which of those chosen keywords are most valuable. The most valuable, high-impact keywords should be used predominantly on your index page

    Hey buddy,
Adwords keyword planner is very basic keyword research tool and doesnt show us the keyword difficulty like features.

Tools like ahrefs, longtailpro, kwfinder show us great insights like keyword difficulty, (and few others) which help us to decide weather to target that keyword or not.

If we are able to find some keyword with less difficulty with above mentioned tools that means its easy to rank for that keyword and save much time. This can save you from frustration at later stage of not being ranked because you have chosen a wrong keyword at initial level.

I hope this will help you a bit.

    Regards,
