Adsense on non content pages

Mabey I'm missing something but if you use adsense on a blog in the side bar is there a way to configure so adsense does not show up on non content pages? ie. about, contact, sitemap etc.

    It would probably require some editing of the sidebar.php file I believe.

    Granted, I've been out of the coding game for a couple years, so it might be better if one up to date on HTML/CSS/PHP could validate my theory.

      The way to do it is to have your privacy page, etc. as html, not
      pages on the blog.

      But, I do not think this is what google means by no content.
      If it were, most sites would fail the test as they all have
      "non content" pages that are for housekeeping and are part
      of the php, asp, etc. configuration. Google is really talking
      about setting up a domain with nothing on it except for
      google ads. That's what google is worried about. Case in point,
      is email provider pages. There is no real content on your email
      inbox, but plenty of ads. Also online scripts like button makers,
      banner makers, etc. with absolutely no content except the
      flash or script.

      I would not worry about it.

        That is what I was thinking and I'm probably taking the policy to extreme but I would hate to loose my account for something stupid. You do make sense though as I have seen what you are talking about many times.
