Quickblogs from GoDaddy, ok?

Hi,
I have a few AdSense sites, not as blogs but as static websites.
I'm thinking about trying blogs, since it seems like a lot less work.
I've been looking at godaddy's quickblogs. Is that any good?
I'm looking for a very simple and user friendly solution here, which will allow me to
- Integrate/monetize on adsense
- Upload articles in advance and have them published at a specified date (not a need-to-have but a nice-to-have)
- Easy to maintain and get stats from
- SEO optimized (tags, etc.)
Is it also possible to have it automatically submit ('ping'?) my articles to different sites such as technorati, digg, etc.?
I know these are newbie questions, but hope that you can help me out.
I'm looking for an easy way to get started with this, and still get the same advantages as with my static sites.
Do anybody have a simple introduction on how to get started with this?
