Does the most important keyword have to be the first word in the title?

Hello everyone

An important seo question- does the most important keyword have to be the first word/words in the title?

The reason I ask is because the items I sell are brands and almost all my listings start the title with "licensed" or "official licensed" (to emphasize the authenticity of my items) instead of putting the important keyword, like nike backpack, at the beginning of the title.

How important is it for SEO? Super important, somewhat important or not that important? Is it recommended that I go over all the titles of the listings which began with licensed or official licensed and replace them with the important keywords first?

    Well, according to Yoast guidelines (which indeed is the most popular SEO plugin available), your target keyword should be at the beginning of the title.
    This is not just to improve the SEO Score of your web page but helps to improve the CTR as well.
    So I would say it's somewhat important.
    Analyze your top 10 competitors on that keyword and you will get your answer.

    The keyword doesn't have to be the very first word in the title, but I'd say don't put it any further down than 3 words. People normally just skim read titles on a SERP to look for their keyword so it needs to be noticeable.

    Well title its the most important thing so of course your main keyword should me in title if not first
