I'm scratching my head since from 2 years but still didn't find the best and satisfying answer to the question "What happens if I build back links from other than my niche websites?". Searching in the mighty Google about this question. Please help me to get the clarity on this question. And tell me the answer.

    Well if you get backlinks from other niche websites it will help also but not so good that your own niche website .Google likes it to be relevant to your content

    It's always a balance. It's pretty hard to succeed without *any* relevant links, but at the same time a good, strong link is definitely worthwhile even if it's not directly related to your site.
    Try to build trust and authority from places like associations, local organisations, testimonials for your suppliers etc, then reach out for more relevant links from sites within the niche to add relevancy. Mix it all up and you should be on your way.

    Back-links are back-links pretty much, look at it like this ONE high quality PR 6-7 back-link is worth about 120 low quality niche relevant back-links

    Keep your backlink profile well balanced.
