Delete or Removing Google Business Listing Permanently

Hi Folks,
Hope everyone is doing well there.
I m facing a problem.
My friend had been Listed their Barber Shop in Google Business Listings few years ago.
But now Need to remove google business listing or at least change the name and move it. He asked me what to do for solution of his Listing problem.
I searched a lot on Google and other web forums but didn't got any correct way for deleting the listing permanent. Finally, I changed all the name and info, but when search for old name, google still show my listing.
So I still in trouble and want any correct step 2 step way for deleting or updating details and move it.
Is anyone can help me???
Suggest me what should I do for it.

    Secondly
    Your problem is that you used the "suggest an edit" instead of claiming the business properly. Suggesting an edit only gives some signals to Google, from a customer's standpoint. You have to own the listing to make changes as the business owner.
