Do you have any idea when will Google's next PageRank update be?

Only Google can answer this question. I'd suggest you to concentrate on link building and try to gain some high PR backlinks for your website which would surely boost your website PR in next update.

I heard that it will be on end of SEP, but it did not occur. So, now I feel that it will be on mid of OCT... not sure.. let's wait & c

  Actually Google continuously updates the PR of websites but it just take time to reflect in the toolbar.

it seems no one has the right answer to this question.. i personally have heard also that the next update will be on November.. I don't know how true was that..

building backlinks? so be it.. i'm at it again.. it's sometimes boring but getting PR is worth the time..
