On Page HTML affects on Web2 page seo?

Hello guys,

As usual when i need some advise from experienced seo guys, i call in here, and all is revealed.

I have been playing with getting my web2 pages to do a better presell job for my money pages. While doing this i have basically ended up building an html page within the web2 sites...

How badly will this affect my seo efforts?

How much less effective is this for seo for this page rather than having a keyword targeted article included on the page?

Any advise or comments would be appreciated

    What is a "web2 page"? Is it the same thing as a Web 2.0 property?

    Web 2.0 properties allow you to build your own web page or pages on their website. Whether or not it's good for SEO depends on if you have optimized the page for search engines to find it relevant to your targeted keyword. The principle is the same on Web 2.0 properties as it is on your own website.

    I'm not really sure what you are asking, but it seems that you want to know if it's okay to create an offer page on the web 2.0 property. I think many of the Web 2.0 sites would have a problem with you building that type of content on their site, some will be okay with it.

    Where it is accepted by the TOS, I think it can be effective to builds such "pages", it's just a different strategy. The same principles of SEO apply to that page and as long as you optimizing the on-page elements and promoting the page properly you can make it work.

    How effective it is would depend a great deal on your skills. Let us know how it works out!

      Thanks for you reply, yes i was meaning my pages within web2 properties.

      Basically i am planning to post one or 2 good keyword targeted articles to the blog a few days apart, ping, bookmark and rss submit the page and then wait until google has been and had a look and indexed the page. Then i plan to post a bit of a presell post (similar to link in my previous post) and hope that with some decent backlinking i can get the page to rank for my keyword (as targeted in my first 2 article posts).

      Well thats the basic plan anyways!
