Multiple Backlinks

Hi Warriors,

I just have a quick question regarding getting backlinks from forums..

When I put a link in my signature with my anchor text, does it hurt if I use multiple links building a couple of backlinks to different sites.

Say I have 2 sites and I want to get a backlink to each site. Could I put the anchor text for both of my sites (which would be in different niches and have different keywords targeted) in my signature therefore killing two birds with one stone so to speak?

Google will only list the one that has more keyword/links pointing to it.. It can't hurt but it can't also provide big help...

yes... just look at the signature above this response. I'm assuming that is what you are talking about.

You just need to keep it under control to avoid looking like a spammer and having your account closed. Common sense.

Having two links to the exact same page using two different anchor texts is not going to work however.

There are also a couple of tricks you can use to fly under the radar. My signature is an example of a very simple solution.

The linkjioce of a page is divided by the number of follow links on that page.

If you put two links in your signature they will half the power of one link

Simple explanation.

More than one link to the same site doesn't help. (I see people make this mistake very often)

links to multiple sites are fine.

I may be wrong but I was always under the impression that as long as those two links were directed at different pages on the same site then you were ok. You just can't have two links directed at the same page using two different anchor texts, only one will be used.

Would it be useful to backlink my backlinks, like my EZA articles?

the particular forum objects to it.
