SEO Question for Brand New Site

I am just about to start a brand new 200 page site. Each page is keyword optimized for a different search term, which is how I will get my traffic.

My question is, should I focus on back linking my to my root domain (will this give juice to all of my pages?) or just link to individual pages evenly?

Thanks for your help.

For good SEO you should be backlinking your various pages. Your home page is only going to give so much juice to your inner pages that are linked on the home page.

I would suggest building backlinks to all of your pages, also Link back to the page that best matches the content of the site you are linking from.

    Best of luck,

    Wait!

Before you set the entire site live with 200 pages, which is going to make a very good site but a *new* site with so many pages may seem like too many too soon, at least to Google.

Add the pages slowly.. one or two new pages a day will bring in good PR (in time), and seems like a natural progression to Google. Speed up the rate articles are published over time.

But that aside, to answer your question, you need deep links to pages besides your home page, but do also add plenty to your home page too - although again do it slowly so Google doesn't think you're a spam site.

I would create backlinks to each page, but this will obviouslytake time. Do it naturally so it doesn't look like you've just bombed every SB site out there. Also, I would naturally 'drip feed' those lovely 200 pages in, this could help ascertain how often the crawlers come and visit your site, definately an advantage. Just do all the usual SEO on-page factors and you should be ok

    Good luck

he beat me too it... do that.

juice runs freely through your entire site so boosting individual pages will feed juice back to your root domain.

Your inner pages can receive direct traffic, so i think it is good for each page to have their own set of keywords and use these keywords for link building with the corresponding sub pages as the landing pages. Of course, don't forget to build backlinks for your homepage.

i will recommend you to do all pages but this is quite difficult , you just concentrate on the main page , and linking randomly to your another pages , it will good to Index and cache in google fast

Get links for ALL your pages!

If you want automated back links try out Article Marketing Automation and Unique Article Wizard.

I use them and they are a dream come true for SEO.

Just be sure you don't go TOO crazy when you first use them because you will be penalized. I know because I have 3 sites that I got too excited with and got punished for it.

But my other sites where I used AMA and UAW less aggressively got their rankings nicely.

I wouldn't randomly get backlinks for them at all, theres nothing random about backliniing if you do it properly...lol

Just create an excel sheet with every page of your site down the left hand side and a column which could be called something like 'Backlink?' or along those lines. All you have to do is put yes once its done. This will not give you a quick overview of your coverage but will also motivate you to keep going. Half the battle is to stay motivated when things arent happenng.

    Good luck!
