OK so I've been recently adding a ton of back links for my site with great success. How much more success can I expect to receive by writing articles and submitting them? This would be a totally new avenue for my SEO efforts and I want to justify spending the time to learn and implement this. Your comments are appreciated.

Write quality articles abotu any topic you want. The best place that you shoudl submit to are Ezine Articles which are the best on the web.

The power of article marketing lies in the Boi/Resource box. Its basically where you can link back to your site(s). Ezine Articles (EZA) allow 2 links back. Its all about the anchor text, so if you're targetting pink widgets and green wdgets just ensure you mention this in your bio. thats all there si to it, just keep writing and submitting.

Oh, also ensure that the content you submit is unique to each of the articles directories, they don't like duplcate content.

    Good luck

Write articles about your topic and you will surely see the results.
For me,always, simple things have worked well and fancy things haven't.Article Marketing is old but the effective one. So,its worth spending time on it.But i suggest you not to build links only by this method.Try other things-bookmarking and other stuffs as you know they work.Give some time to each of the tool in your arsenal. This is the way to go.
Try GoArticles too. They are also authority site and they are liberal and allow 4-5 links both in the content body and the resource box.As everybody knows,Google has started giving less emphasis to links in the sidebar and resource boxes and all,so link from content body is expected to carry more value.
    So GoArticles Isn't bad.
BTW,also focus on Anchor text diversity, link diversity and link to inner pages as well.

Well I've thus far submitted my 10 articles to Ezine and have inserted my two text keyword links pointing to my domain. I've also submitted to Hubpages. I'll give the other site mentioned a chance over the weekend or next week and report any changes. I won't know for sure if these changes alone amount to much as I still add links daily. I've also went out and did the naughty deal of adding around 250 crap links as I still think they work. It should still blend in with my 100 high PR links to even things out a tad.

Ok let me see if I can get a strait forward answer on this from you guys. Is it absolutley crucial that you submit a unique article to each directory? Or could you just manually submit your one article to Ezine, and a couple other article directories?

Via article submission, you can expect to get some good backlinks. I will suggest that you submit your articles to only top article directories like these:

    ezinearticles.com/
    articledashboard.com
    easyarticles.com
    goarticles.com
    selfgrowth.com
    ideamarketers.com
    articlesfactory.com
    articlealley.com

I personally have found that submitting articles to hundreds of small directories is quite a waste of your time.
