Squidoo? Last time when I was trying to add article(lens) I could not...all my keywords are banned there so even title of my lens had to lost it's meaning

Is squidoo usefull at all these days?

Was your content unique? For best results, you need to ensure that you submit only unique content to these sites. Some of them don't even allow duplicated content.

My content was unique...but I used FOREX keyword(also in my title). There is plenty of keywords that they do not allow to use now when creating lens.

If you do your longtail keyword research carefully then GoArticles can be really effective. With instant publishing and links allowed within the body they are certainly as flexible as any PR6 article directory out there.

I used to recommend EZA all the way, but doing some testing where I submitted the same article to both EZA and GoArticles I find that GoA ranked the same article within a couple of results (and often higher) than EZA.

I dobut theres many that accept submissions without moderation, The only one I know thats worth submitting to is GoArticles.

For the record, I wouldn't bother with ArticlesBase.com for the simple fact that all the links you enter will be "nofollow".

The exception to this of course would be if you didn't care about the linkjuice / SEO aspect and were simply looking to cash in on referring visitors directly from your article.

That just doesn't make any sense to me, why an article directory would make it's bio links nofollow. Like it's said at EzineArticles - the article is your "give" and the bio box is your "take".. articlesbase making the bio box nofollow neuters your "take".

Submit a unique, original article to them to hope to get the referral visitors to my site? No thanks, I'll use a BETTER article directory for that..

Good info -- they used to be one of my top article sites. I have received a little traffic from my bio box, but not worth it if the links are 'no follow'.

So does anyone have a list of article directories (besides Ezine and GoArticles) that will approve fast (with high PR), it will get indexed by Google in short period of time, and also the bio links are dofollow? I don't want to waste my time submitting to directories that have the nofollow tag (Articlesbase, Articlealley, etc..). I'm not too concerned about getting traffic from the articles, but more about the dofollow backlink to help my site move up the SERPs.

You may want to consider the PR of these article submission sites before you go crazy submitting all over the place.

Also, the High PR sites that have no follow may help with other engines though as well.

Overall I would go with Ezinearticles and GoArticles, Although it can take a while for Ezine to review and publish. I believe Ezine has helped more with backlinks and pr then the rest but that might be because they are a pretty dominant force. Personally I put a main article at Ezine and send out a few variations to the others.

hmm article directories that include the nofollow code for links shouldn't be listed here. Articlebase, hubpages with rates lower than 70 are really nono for link building.

So does anyone have a good list of all the dofollow directories that we can submit too?

So is there any reason to submit to nofollow directories? My main purpose for articles is to get the dofollow backlink and not worried about any sort of traffic. Up to this point I had submitting to many popular directories, but now I noticed they are nofollow. Do these nofollow directories help in any way whatsoever or just a waste of time?
