I want to register .us domain.
Is it worse than .com and .net?
Does Google give it less attention/wight to .us?
Is .us like .info?

I go with .com whenever I can. (unless I'm marketing a site for an audience outside the US)

There are a lot of .us and .info sites that are complete spam, therefore I believe Google looks at a .com as being more slightly more legit when starting from scratch.

However, if you give the domain some time and back it up with some authoritative links you should be fine with your .us or .info. Google isn't going to punish you because you've selected a less popular TLD. Good luck on the domaining.

I am not sure if this is true, but I read somewhere that if you are targeting US region, .US domain is the one over .info domain. For example, if you are trying to do affiliate marketing with physical product delivery to house holds, then I guess .US is better.
