Hi guys,
Could somebody please have a look at this site of mine as its 2 weeks old and has been indexed but still does not show any adsense code only the charity ads.

I really jumped in with this site and if i could go back i wounldn`t of started it but now i have i`m just interested in what im doing wrong. I have looked at spyfu and there are ads for `used go karts` here in the UK but many more in the US so i`m wondering if anybody in the US could also tell me if it shows any ads for them.

Yes im copying Xfactors style but have used a blog with a copy theme of his sites and i`m wondering if google cannot read my site to determine what the site is about, so can anybody check it with Market Samuri as ive check it with traffic travis and it gives a terrible d+ for onpage SEO but traffic travis seems to be alittle untrustable !!

Heres the site
Used Go K

Cheers Jim

I am US based and seeing PSAs like you said. The problem is that the xfactor dude is full of poopy. you should let your site age a bit and get fully crawled before adding the adsense code. you should also wait and see what keywords searchers are using to find your site prior to calling in the adsense bot.
get more quality links to tell the search bot to come back and crawl your stuff more often.

you may also want to remove the "longtail keyword here" stuff.

      Hi Allyn,

And thanks for your reply, I understand what your saying but you know i`ve built afew sites like this since i built this one and there all showing the adsense code, I did wait afew weeks and until the site was indexed before adding the adsense code so there must be something wrong with this site somewhere !!
Can you think of anything else ??

      Cheers anyway.. Jim

perhaps, you just need to be more patient.. i have one site which isn't indexed yet in about 4 weeks now.. i just wait and wait and wait.. crawlers will crawl these pages eventually.. patience is a virtue..

make your keywords "used go karts" bold. Use the keyword in bold in the first sentence, again in the middle and in the last sentence.
that should tell the bots what you want, though I still think you are jumping the gun with adding the asdsense this early.

I like to use google sitemaps to get the site crawled faster and more efficiently too, just a thought, but then you have probably already done this haven't you?

Your footer is showing some text that was not intended for display.

I'm in Australia and I'm also seeing the Public Service ads.

It sometimes happens that Google doesn't like the subject of a site and they display the Charity ads instead. I'm not familiar with the Go Kart scene, so it could be worth checking whether similar sites are displaying Adsense.

Try to put some meta keywords.

    Or

Try to get another adsense code from your account. And replace it.

    Hi Jim,

I too think it's good to wait about 3-4 weeks before you add AdSense. Not sure if that's the issue though in your case, but I also can not see any AdSense apart from the charity ones.

And somehow I have the feeling you might be using your main keyword a bit too many times on one page. Many SEO experts suggest that these days it's not necessary to repeat the main keyword too many times.

Of course the main keyword should be in the title tag, the H1 tag and if possible in the navigation and inside the text at least twice... but apart from that, I wouldn't use it too many times. Might look suspicious to Google...

Maybe instead of the adsense, you can use Ebay's affiliate program
which allows you to post pre-populated listing search results in an
i-frame (don't think it's an actual i-frame, but appears that way)
    on your site.

I'll bet there are a ton of Go Karts for sale on ebay.

used go kart, great deals on eBay Motors, Sporting Goods on eBay!

I've seen other people do this and am pretty sure you get paid
a percentage of the fee collected when your cookied visitor buys
something on ebay after clicking over through the ad on your site.

    Hope this helps,
    Jason

This is in your source code:

      <metaname='robots' content='noindex,nofollow' />

Change that and your adsense will start to show up right.

Go to the privacy section in your wp and check the right button to let your site be seen by search engines and visitors.

OMG! I was having the same problem on a niche AdSense site and never looked at the meta tags. You just solved my problem - thanks for that.

In the WordPress admin area under Settings / Privacy / Blog Visibility

there are two options (below). I had the the second one checked but I have no idea why. Obviously the first option is the way to go.
        • I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers
        • I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors

One of the ways I found to get indexed quickly is to search for my site in Google Keyword Tool website search.
