Page Rank for a New Blog

Hi friends,

I own a blog and i did all the Offpage works to promote the blog(For few months) and still now i didin't get a PageRank for my blog...My question is How long will it take a blog to get Page Rank????? Please give your valuable suggestions...

    It's too long to update PR now... Don't focus on PR.. PR can't help your site reaching top spot... focus on building more quality backlinks..

        Really??? Where did you get this information? They might stop publishing it (even though I haven't heard any confirmations about this) but I guess it will among the most important factors in their algoritmh for a long time to come...

          I agree. Don't worry your head off with PR. Now even Google says so. More importantly how to rank on top of Google's page one preferably top 3 positions. This is a better goal to work on and not PR which is more for the ego booster.

    I will hold a street party when Google drops that stupid little PR bar in their toolbar, then people will stop fixating on useless PR and worry about traffic and conversion rates!

      Hi David,

      Page rank is removed from Webmaster tools, but not discontinued by Google

      I agreed we should concentrate on providing keyword optimized good content, and don't forget to get backlinks for your content.

      High PR is still important! That's why linkwheel strategy works so well. High PR sites let's you easily rank for many good keywords! That's why I still focus on building my page rank while using linkwheel to get traffic.

    Sometimes it takes half year to see a change.

    But

    It might be that your blog has ALREADY got a higher page rank in the eyes of Google, but they just haven't reflected it in their PR tool. That gets updated only few times a year.

    Links from High Quality PR Sites (relevant to the keyword/s your'e targeting) & also internally linking to pages you want to build PR with. These are the best ways I know, but it sounds as if you've been pretty aggressive with linking.

    I agree with the comments on not fixating on PR.

    Well how old is your blog? A newer blog or site requires around three months to get PR. If your blog is older then it may possible that promotion done for that were not enough......so keep on building quality links for your blog nd also make sure to update it with useful, interesting content time to time and have patience.
