If you research around you will find that Google's keyword tool is by far the greatest, why? Because how much more accurate could you get than getting reliable information from the search engine itself. Kyle and Carson of WA have talked about how they have never purchased a keyword program and just used Google's and have made millions.

    Three words: GOOGLE! GOOGLE! GOOGLE!

Not only is their information accurate, but everyone on the planet uses google! Therefore, the information is current, up-to-date and reliable. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The keyword tool we have been usinr exclusively in our business is Micro Niche Finer (Type a title for your page here)

the information is extensive and the most user friendly of any of the programs we have used.

Best of all if you can follow - red, yellow and green lights you can easily integrate the appropriate keywords into your project

Although I agree that Google is the best tool, time is also money. You have to extract this information, put it into a fancy excel sheet, then go and look at the competition, allintitles, all inachorts, other allin's etc. Now for me thats far to much time spent on research. I love to ensure that one carries out due dillignece but would it not be better to purchase a tool that carries out this research for you? You can then use your experience to narrow this down to your shorlist of keywords.

I personanly use Micro Niche Finder and it seems to be a Godsend. I have also read that Market Samurai is excellent as well but have not used this. Surely a small investment would be ideal in the long run?

    Thanks

I haven't tried MNF, but I have my own tool that does exactly the above, i.e. uses the Google AdWords tool and saves masses of time! There's a WSO to get it half-price at the moment: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ial-offer.html

Hope this isn't considered spam, I think it's pretty relevant to the above discussion.

  • I'm very high on Fabian Lim's Keyword Research Pro which is front end to Google and half a dozen others. The power is it helps you organize and filter information that Google does not. It's less than a $100 and the support and training are very good.

Google's keyword suggestion tool is the one that I use mostly and it is prettttyy good. Many people have also recommended Microniche finder. Apparently, it tells you the competetion in certain niche and more information about keywords. I haven't used it though.
