Poweful FREE SEO Tool To Add To Your Arsenal

So, I'm sure a lot of you SEO experts out there already know about this tool. But I've been doing some SEO work this morning and I just love this thing, so I decided to go ahead and share it with the class

I figure that even if it only helps one person that's just starting out with SEO, that's a good thing

Anyways, the tool is called Backlink Watch. It's totally free and easy to use.

    Be sure to check links with www and without.

    This tool is not bad, but there are some others that will give you quite different results.

      Well, all online tools give you different results and no tool can give you exact results and backlinkwatch is also not an exception but it is really one of the best ones.

      I also suggest you to use webmaster tools to check you link, that is also free and you can expect more accuracy then other tools.

        Thanks for this tool, I have been using it for a while. Although, as another poster pointed out, the results vary from one tool to another. I also recently added a plug in to my own website (in my sig), it checks the backlinks of a website, creates hyperlinks of all those sites you are getting backlinks from, and tells you if they are dofollow or nofollow.

          What can i say....that service is good! Many seo tools do not provide good info about backlinks, but this provides additional information such as total number of outbound links from the particular backlink and REL flags (dofollow, nofollow) etc.
