Hi

What do you use to monitor your backlinks?

If i build backlinks using articles and other solutions i would like to know that the links is still there.

So what do you use to monitor your backlinks?
A XLS document wont do the work, i will just se a long list of urls where i belive i have a link but i would realy like to see that the backlink is still there.

Any tips?

backlinkwatch or one of the many other free tools online.
    traffic travis, free SEO tool

I have a word doc with a link to (almost) every backlink I've created (primarily for profile type backlinks) so I can run down the list and see which ones are still good.

I also keep a list of blog posts I've commented on in order to check if the links stick and determine the overall value of adding links on that blog... if I want to keep that blog in my backlinking arsenal or if it's a waste of time to comment there.

I keep these lists because I have a lot of sites and a lot of backlinks and it helps keep me on track knowing which sites are winners and which are duds.

      Thank you for the reply.

I do the same, i have all links in a xls file but it is not possible for me to check if the link is removed automaticly but have to check manualy and that is a verry time consuming procedure.

Backlink watch is good if you dont know what links you have but this time i whant it the other way around.

I know the urls where there should be a backlink but i want to know if the link is removed or not.
