I'm not happy with this forum (ebaums world)

I used to have a long list of forums for writing comments and using anchor text in my sig for link juice.
Over time that list was reduced to just a few forums, of those, ebaums world was the best.
Just logged into my account to make a few post when I saw I had a private message. The moderator asked me to remove the link from my sig. What's worse is he had already removed the link from all previous posts.
This is REALLY annoying because all posts made, threads started etc were completely relevant and contributed to the forum. Given the kind of people who post over there, this was an accomplishment.
So not happy with Ebaums world and beginning to think that forum posting is a dying link technique.
