My website is climbing up on google. I don't want to ruin it. Is anchor keyword too much?
- SEO |
About a while back i wrote a post about how i made $1.87 with my website which had pretty much been ignored by by. Then i was still gonna keep ignoring it until i found out that my chosen keyword had me at #40 without quotes in Google and #17 with quotes. Well, when i found out my ranking i got real excited because my competition is over a million. SO i decided to market it after all.
Well, it's been a week and i did some article marketing for backlinks. I had never done anchor text for my main keyword because i was a newbie( and still am) and didn't know the benefits of it. But within the last week that i did a few articles my website has jumped up the ladder and now i'm at #32 without quotes and #12 with quotes.
My question is...Is too much of my keyword in the anchor text too much. For example, i devote 1 link to my main keyword and the other link to another page on my site. However, is it wrong to keep writing articles and using the same anchor text for all of them? Will it hurt me more than help me?
Sure hope someone can help me. Laters!
