I discussed ranking factors and got many replies "Content is King" again and again.

So my question is what type of content can rank and how much unique content you can generate for the same topic.

Thousand of website optimizing for same topic and keywords, so how to generate unique content?

What is the proper definition of Unique quality content or content is king?
#content #king #rank #shouting #type

The type of content you create should be the kind that other sites have already shown a propensity to link to. There may be hundreds of articles about a given subject but really only a handful are the best. Take the best from the best, put it into your owns words or have your own unique spin, and create the best of them all. Then, contact the places that linked to the other sites and show them what you created is even better.

When people say 'Content is King,' they simply mean that you will need quality content (images, infographics, videos, articles, blogs, sales page, whitepapers, pdf, ppt, etc.) to drive traffic at your platform (website, webpage, web app, mobile app, social media platforms, etc). Content is everywhere.

Coming to your second question about unique content, you need to add value to the readers in your content. Write what other bloggers and writers are missing in their pieces. Every writer has a different approach and when you add value to the piece, it will automatically become unique.

Now comes to 'how much unique content can you generate on the same topic.' It depends on your creativity, you will need to find the ways on your own, that's why writers are in existence. There is no specific limit on how much you can write.

You are right. Content is no longer restricted to articles. It includes videos, graphics, images pdfs...... name them. So your creativity should make yours unique and will impact on your SEO.

Content is King is overly simplifying it. Yes it is important and everything you do to rank your site revolves around content.

But there are many moving parts to ranking a site. And people might get confused over one method or another.

To answer your first question, what type of content that you can rank for depends entirely upon the authority your website. The more authoritative it is, the more you can rank for a lot of terms. And if your site is new, you'll need to target lower competition keywords until your site gains some authority.

For your second question, not every website will be targeting the keywords that you intend to use. Lower competition keywords will have less people targeting it. But even if there are lots of competition, it's possible to outrank them if the competition doesn't have a strong authority themselves.

Generating unique content is about putting in a new angle to it. You can brainstorm a hundred different ideas with common keywords like weight loss or make money online. You don't have to reinvent the wheel, just a different twist would be enough.

To break it down, focus on learning how to uncover lower competition keywords if your site is new, then learn how to create engaging, value driven content that people want to read.

Yes, you should learn how to optimize the article for SEO as well, but creating good content goes a long way for your readers to stay on your site, and that ultimately is what Google wants.

Create content on profitable keywords with low competition, use google keyword planner to find what people are searching for and create content on those keywords, then find way to rank better than everybody else.. not easy but doable if you really want to (note: I haven't done it yet, still in theory and learning stages)

We have more than 4 years experience in content writing field. mainly two types of content work well. blog post and copywriting blog post is the most simple way to write your article with samples, resources and examples and other related stuff.
but copy writing is used for sales purpose. It's kind of skills that used for products and service to sale them. both type of content are necessary to use.
    but which content is rank.
    • actionable content that are saying to readers to take actions.
    • content ranks that contains useful and right resources as links.
    • content ranks that contains real life examples.
    • content ranks that contains easy to understand and clear sentences and paragraphs with real time information.
    • content rank that contains proper and actionable subheadings that are reflection the real intention behind the article.
    • content ranks that cover all necessary things and data which fulfill the headline purpose along with full solution.

  • Yes, Content is the king.

The content you create must be unique and free from plagiarism that will help you rank it. Your content should contain suitable heading and subheadings with paragraphs. Don't put low-quality links on your page. Fill each and every detail about the subject you are mentioning.

Content optimization is vital after you created the content because -
    1. Do proper keyword research and analysis, this will give you keywords on which you will rank(try low competition keywords first).
    2. You'll get quality backlinks only if your content is of good quality
    3. Visibility is improved to a greater extent after content optimization.

content is the king for sure and it is true to every level as if you only to try to focus on ranking you page mostly through seo and you also attract most of the users but when the user visits your page and then they dont find the proper content then all your SEO hardwork will go in vain, so make your content as much interesting as you can, try to list out all the important points and dont try to stuff keywords in the content.

Yes that's true Content is King and it's the best way to engage your audience. Content that provides useful information and free from grammatical errors like no spelling mistakes and does not contain any copied part will be beneficial to rank your website. Also, use long-tail keywords in your content so that it will help to rank your content easily on Google. There is one tool called "Grammarly", you can use this tool and check your content there.

Making content a king takes lot of efforts as just creating the content that has no value will take you no where. You must research well before you create content in order achieve the highest quality. Find out what people wants to read, provide them a solution in your content. You need to draft the content that help you increase your audience engagement and tend to stay on your website for longer period of time with an intent to buy your product or service. Avoid grammatical mistakes, use LSI keywords to accompany your primary targeted keywords. This will definitely help your content get good exposure.

When I say content is king, what I mean is that as all the mediums for delivering content change, the content itself, so as long as it is current, will remain valuable. Facebook or Twitter are not value in and of themselves... the content people create and share is the value (for users, not FB). Facebook is interested in keeping people on their platform as long as possible to show more ads to generate revenue.

    How do they do that?

Promoting the content that gets the best engagement (okay, so I'm oversimplifying it, but you get it).

For me, in terms of what content ranks and what content is quality... If we're talking SEO, it's a matter of doing your research. Using tools like Ahrefs and even Google's free keyword planner, you can find search volumes for keywords and then look at the difficulty of ranking for those keywords.

The money is in finding keywords (phrases), related to your business or blog, with decent search volume, finding 10-20 related keywords, and then writing a single post that covers the topic exhaustively.

I mean, there's a lot that goes into that... but ultimately, no one is going to find you online with out content... content is literally EVERYTHING. From there you develop community and relationships around your content... but it all originates with a quest to learn or discover about a specific topic and evolves from there.

    Hope this helps.

I'd say a Wikipedia type content has the potential to outperform the competition. When we type any query, Wikipedia is 1st in most of the cases. Why? It's not only because of their high DA or their notoriety. It's because they give the most useful and complete information to a query, they give one of the best UX possible, and they have an objective opinion. As a result, Wikipedia acts in accordance with the Google's main goal which is to give the most useful answer to a user's query.

High-quality: Your site's content should be unique, specific and high-quality. It should not be mass-produced or outsourced on a large number of other sites. Keep in mind that your content should be created primarily to give visitors a good user experience, not to rank well in search engines.

Though 'content is king' is a much-talked words, it is great talk in case of SEO. To rank high in the SERP (Search engine result page) this content needs to prove its quality to both search engines and users.
According to SEO rule content should be unique and lengthy. This is because content length correlated with SERP position. And, content page topics should cover in-depth and meet it in every angle. Google has stated that they're happy to penalize sites that don't bring anything new or useful.
Again, images, videos, and other multimedia elements may act as a content quality signal.

Another question is how much unique content you can generate for the same topic?

Creativity has no end. Can you discover a man in the world complete similar to others? Probably you can't. Yes, this is because the topic relates to genetic modification. So, a new idea may generate from different man from different thinking? Who will say where there will be an end of creativity? Therefore I think you brainstorm with the idea and unique idea will generate from you. The man who ranks no 1 must have a lack in his writing. You find out those lacks and place it and thus you create your content unique.

The content that has: citations and can back up its claims, easy to understand, zero plagiarism, a good author who has linked their social media account, intent matches and doesn't stray by adding fluff content, etc. It's really difficult to pin down everything but its really important to take YMYL into account when its about content. Also, you need authority to rank. I don't think good content just gets you the rank though it is the main thing. You require SEO to get your website somewhere to get recognised.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11531728].message }}

The uniqueness comes in the writing style and the extra, reliable information you add to the content. Information is pretty much the same when it comes to a specific topic and the keywords which are targeted by you are also being targeted by some other SEO company. So we're all fighting the same battle.

Even though I strongly believe that the content should be created for users and not for the sake of SEO, we all have a business to run and find a place in the coveted first page. So we need to play for both ends. Stuff the keywords in a proper way, but also do your research thoroughly on the topic and give the reader the maximum reliable information you can give them on the topic. Emphasis on reliable.

It all depends on what you mean by content. Is it text based or image based. Many niches you can't write content for like fashion, mugs many of the eCommerce types of products.

What I am finding is how a visitor interacts with what is on the page is getting people ranked high.

In my opinion UX is the new SEO along with your content. Just content alone is not getting traction in the SERPs.

The user intent, or search intent states which goal or intention an internet user has when entering a search term into a search engine. User intent is now a central factor in content and search engine optimization and is eclipsing individual keywords as a dominant ranking factor.

It really needs to know what type of content can rank. We write content according to user intent and a more attractive manner.

Use Longtail keyword phrases to understand user queries.
We all know content is king, therefore, we write unique content. We write content on the same topic to attract more users and rank for too.

So, According to me, Quality Content is that who write according to user intent and more users like to learn more and more likely.

    1. Content should be more clear and understandable to every person easily.
    2. Good pictures and video (Infographic) to use efficiently.
    3. Highlight important line in the content
    4. See how you compete in the race

"Content is king" mean you have to write quality and proper SEO optimized content. Yes, thousands of website optimizing for the same topic and keywords, but you have to make some difference. Check out the followings -

    • Your content should be original and informative.
    • Use primary, secondary and LSI keywords with proper density.
    • Use Images, Videos, Infographics with your content.
    • Use alt tags with images.
    • Keep your content Readable. Check readability score in Yoast.
    • Write Proper Meta Tags.

Only quality content can't help you to boost your ranking; you have to maintain other SEO factors. If your on-page and off-page SEO techniques are properly balanced then, quality content can give you an additional advantage.
