Help - need to get indexed quick?

Hi there,

Ok I have just created a new site using Wordpress that is geared towards a specific event and the interest will die down soon.

I need to get the site ranked and indexed ASAP if I want to make some cash from it.

I have the full, proper domain eg: oscars.com so I should be able to rank first - it is just a matter of getting indexed to Google.

So the question is, how can I get indexed into Google in like 24 hours?

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks

the fastest way that I know of is to build high page rank backlinks that are anchored with your keyword you are ranking for.

Just make sure inside your Wordpress settings that the Privacy is set to allow all visitors and not set on private.

Then each post you make or add to the site will ping at least one ping network (hopefully you added a few more) with each addition. Also add the Google XML Sitemap plugin.

Most WP site get indexed within hours just by doing that.

You can also go to Digg.com and "Digg" the site.

That is a good idea, but I am not sure if it will effect competition and copy cats.

The site that I am trying to index is a one page site, sort of like a landing page.

    1. Submit Your RSS feed to the top RSS submission sites... RSSbot is good for this (I use it). Heard good things about RSS Submit as well.

    2. Press releases are wonderful for this. If you have the $$$ $19.95 at Webwire is fantastic.

    3. Do some social bookmarking

    4. List your site at Main Page - Wikidweb

There are others, but those 4 will get you indexed very quickly.

Good advice, I might try one or two of those ideas. At the moment I am not that keen on spending more cash on the site, but that might become a option.

      Thanks for your input

Add some quality links to you site and submit it to some high quality heavy traffic bookmarking sites like digg, stumleupon etc. also make sure that your site content is unique then it will sure get indexed within a couple of hours.

This is really easy, I usually get indexed in about 2-7 hours.

Okay, here's how you do it - this'll make sure you get indexed high, and stay there.

Step 1) Make a couple posts
Step 2) RSS - Grab your RSS feed - submit it to Feedage.com, and to Feedest.com; go to WordpressPingList.com, grab all the RSS aggregators from the txt file they give, go to Pingler.com and put them all in. Ping your blog. Use Pingomatic.com

(They're not all necessary, but I like to use them all - I'd go with the first two, then the last couple options are optional. I recommend choosing at least one, though, for good measure.)

Step 3) Go to SocialMarker.com, submit to those sites.
This may take a while - and I recommend you get this outsourced. You'll get it cheaper, and have more authority behind it. You can find lots of people on WF willing to do this.

If not, I recommend using either: ones you already use, and are developed a little. OR Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Twitter.

Step 4) Make a Youtube video - make a short video related to your topic, and link to it in your description. Make sure it's the FIRST thing in the description. This is the only dofollow link on the page... And quickly say the site in your vid at the beginning, and end.

    (Optional)

Step 5) Write short articles, and submit them to 3stepads.com, unique-article-database.com, and writers-block-unblocked.com. Using appropriate anchor text and all that. Make sure it's relevant too - NO SPAMMING. It doesn't need to be too long, so don't worry.

Step 6) Wait until your site gets indexed, then post again. This one will tend to rank high...

Use any of Google's tools. Sitemap submission. Alnalytics. Adsense. Any of them and you're guaranteed to get indexed faster than any other way.

Although if not using any of these.. backlinks is the only way unless Google do their funny stuff and pick up your site with some other method that seems to be something to do with crawling domain registrations.

    UPDATE:

Here is an update on the sites progress:

The site was first live a little less than 24 hours ago and it is not indexed yet.

These are the plug ins installed as soon as the site was built and have been enabled and updated:
    • SEO all in one
    • Sitemap Generator
I have created a link to the sitemap page in the footer of the site. The site was also pinged at pinger.com

Other than pinger.com I have also added Analtyics and the site has been added to Delicious and Digg.

I also tried what HCLee suggested, and that was done about 8 hours ago.

    A little about the site:
    • The site is on the perfect, best domain possible eg: oranges.com (if I was to use that as an example)
    • The site is one page, basically a landing page with keywords and information about the product.
    • The site has a Youtube Video on its one page - which is the index page.
Bottom line - the site is STILL not in Google yet

Getting indexed is not that easy - well at least in my experience

      How old is the domain?

I find with a brand new domain it takes a little longer to get indexed whereas when I use a domain I have purchased in advance it gets picked up a lot quicker. Also it's only been 24 hours dude give the bot some time. check has it even visited yet by going into your AwStats.

Hey thanks, you just answered a question I've been wanting to post here: four sites I purchased two days ago, and built up immediately, still haven't been indexed, while an empty domain I bought some time ago got indexed within a day. I was wondering why these just-bought sites are taking so long. Anyway, I just added them to analytics and webmastertool, but the sitemaps from WP went out two days ago. I'll be checking tomorrow.

I would suggest you put a link in your sig and instead of doing this

The site is on the perfect, best domain possible eg: oranges.com (if I was to use that as an example)
    and
I have the full, proper domain eg: oscars.com so I should be able to rank first - it is just a matter of getting indexed to Google.
Why not put the real website there? Since this thread is indexed Google, Google has no choice but to at the least, take notice the links.

You can do either of the following to help your site get index:

Build Links - back link helps your site get index.
Create a sitemap - it helps your sub-pages get index.

      1. Submit sitemap to Google.

      2. Submit your site in Propeller, Mixx, Twitter, Digg, Mister-Wong.. and then build backlinks in High PR sites.

      3. And if you have an existing website which is often visited by Google, put your site's links there.

    1). 100% unique content - 10 500 word articles
2). In warrior signature since a few days
3). Did RSS Bot and Social Bot
    4). 10 High PR backlinks
5). Site verified and Site Map submitted at google webmaster tools
6). Linked from my other PR3 site

    Anything else I am missing?

I have always found a great way to get indexed is to add the link to your signature on a busy forum link warrior forum.

Be sure to include it on more than one site and it should be indexed quite fast if you have a decent amount of posts!

Also web 2.0 properties help as well.

Yeah its quite right that among other strategies you can get indexed easily if you read articles in different forums and post your link in signature. Try to find the forums having good PR and post your reply there. To make your site indexed quick, it is also very necessary you have original content, not copy from different sources.

You have to get more bookmarks, Specially from digg and mixx as well as on some other HIGH PR bookmarks sites. Apart from that, Get backlinks on other ways too, Such as blog commenting, article submissions and web properties 2.0 too. These will help you to get quick index as well as good traffic to your site.
