Hi,

I have been promoting my sity for over a year now and everything was going fine.

I have been promoting a certaing page for a certain keyword for over a year and I saw it climing up in the serps to the 10th position.

A few days ago I noticed that my page is suddenly not showing in the SEPRs. I even searched fot the page URL in google but somehow it didn't find it.

It looks like google has removed my page from its database.

Why is it happening? I don't do blackSEO and those kind of stuff. I am promoting in the regular ways. Article directories, Videos, links and so on...

Any help will be great

Thanks.

No real suggestion for you here, but I can share that I had a site, fairly important to me, and it was moving up and up and up and up, and it reached page one, for a few days.

This is good because it's a site comparing a special guitar we make with the special guitar that our competitor makes. When you compare them, prices and features, we basically win big, so it's good that it be on the first page of google.

And then vanished all banished, and languished around page 14-18 and sometimes not even there, for several months.

The last three days it's been back on page one.

I don't now exactly why, but I investigated. I found some duplicate content which I'd copied from another of my sites and forgotten to change. Or it may have been the famous and mysterious 'sandbox.' Or maybe my competitor found a friend at google who would knock it out.

    I just do not know.

I'm hoping it hangs around on page one again and I've jumped on some article marketing and other things to help it do so.

    Good luck.

Weird stuff is going on right now - 4 weeks ago we began ranking on page 1, position 4 for a term we have never been able to get above page 5 or 6. This ranking lasted all of two weeks and then everything went back to where it was before. Seems Goo makes a lot of these changes over the weekends from what I have seen now and in the past. I would not make too many changes right now, see what shakes out in the next couple of weeks.

Right, so your website is NOT de-indexed.

That's great news, just continue to do whatever work you're doing.

Don't be so concerned, my new website was on #7 for the first few days, dropped out of #500, then now it settled on #11.

Give it a few days, there's a good chance it may reappear.

Google dance most likely. It's only been a day so there's a high chance of it jumping back up top in the next few days/weeks.

    Good luck!

Not to hijack the thread, but I actually had 2 pages of a domain be indexed for 2 days and now they are back. They are a couple of product pages on a domain of mine that I haven't really worked on for about a month.

I was checking on their backlinks 2 days ago and noticed that there were showing zero backlinks (typically had about 80 in yahoo site explorer). So a quick check with site:domain.com in google, showed that the 2 pages were out of the index.

But, I just did a search right now and they are back. Google is so odd.

Try getting it indexed again, by submitting it to social bookmarking websites and stuff
