Is there any way I can improve?

My site is brand new and I got up there in about 15 hours.
I want to hit the first page of google. and my compettition is 189,000,000

I've done rss submits, 6 video submits and not including youtube, and I just did one article like an hour ago.

should I just keep sumbmitting videos and articles?

First of all your competition is not 189,000. You are actually in the top 1000 already . Only those between you and the number one spot remain your competition.

Get more content rich keywords than they have . Acquire more back links than they have .

Squeeze all the traffic out of the niche with articles .

If the competition is seo smart ... you may find that the second page will be short lived if you don't get the content and back links going quickly

That number isn't actually relevant. Google only returns 1,000 results -- so you're in the top 1,000. When trying to rank organically, the TOP 10 results are the only ones that really matter, and should be the "competition" that you are targeting.

One thing to remember as well is that new sites often get good ranking by Google out of the box, but in short order end up further down in the results. Keep trying to boost your ranking, because there's a decent chance you will see the site slip down a bit before you move up again.

Your only competition is the first page.

And just continue gathering backlinks for your targeted keyword. That's pretty much all you can do, short of sabotaging the competition ahead of you.

Also, you should realistically figure out if your competition CAN be overtaken by your site.

After all, if the top 5 positions are pharmacy websites with 3k indexed pages, 700k backlinks, and an 8 year old domain, you can take over that keyword, but:

    a) it'll be a losing struggle to MAINTAIN your rank there.
    b) you won't stay above those websites for long.

EDIT: Oh, goodness, I didn't read fully. If it JUST got up there within a little while, there's a 90% chance it'll drop, and drop hard. What it's going through right now is just 'new site syndrome'. Just keep building links, etc, and it'll eventually get to the first page and stay there.

What did you do to get it there in 15 hours? By brand new do you mean the same day you put it on the net or had you had the domain name registered for a while?

Its not an aged domain at all. The website is really just only 20 or so hours old. I basically just did a lot of rss submits, and video submits and am about to start article submits as well.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE INFORMATION I WILL TRY MY HARDEST TO KEEP IT GOING UP THE PAGES. THANK YOU

You may want to use some caution with your submissions. A new domain ranking in the top getting articles all over the web may lead to a slap. I have had this happen before. Google saw my new content and ranked me high. I got excited and went full steam ahead of the article marketing and rss submits. Before I knew what had happened, my site was ranked 500+ in google.
