Would this work/be better?

I had planned to write a large amount of articles maybe 300-500 on one particular niche.

Now, I had planned to simply post these articles to ezine with a redirect link to a CB product?

I am unsure how successful this will be, so my other option would be to make a blog with the 300-500 posts, then once indexed, post to ezine for more traffic and backlinks.

My research all comes from a book, so I am basically turning a book in to lots of 250 articles - no keyword research is really being done, do you think with the sheer amount of articles I will still get good traffic through longtail and article ct's etc?

Which would be my best route - advice will be greatly received.

Thanks,
-Ben

I'm always wary of writing content for my own site and then posting the exact same articles to directories. At the very least, I'd be looking to tweak some of your content before submitting to article directories, otherwise you may stumble into a duplicate content penalty if you're not careful.

I think you better post all contents on 2 ur new blog. Then write another set 4 ezines and use that 4 driving traffic 2 ur blog

How likely is it that with 300+ blog posts I will get a decent amount of long tail traffic with no keyword research?

could go either way. Why no research? If it is too boring or hard or takes too much time, sub it out to a warrior offering keyword research service. Then instead of guessing, you KNOW you have a winner for all your other hard work.

Well I my original plan was to submit 300+ articles to ezine with simply a redirect to a cb offer.

Then I thought, all that completely original content is just helping ezines more than me. Which is why I thought should I just build a blog with all that content then the content is there for good not matter what, its just if it will bring any traffic. Not sure if this is a tried and tested method really.

Do you think I will have any luck with the cb idea?

Article marketing is the backbone to a lot of hard working IM'ers. BUT you have to cross link to blogs or websites to make it really effective, then use social sites to add backlinks to both articles and websites. Straight to your affiliate link is banned I think on the main article site Ezinearticles.com.

Try looking at one article you plan to submit and see how many views similar articles are getting. You can then work out how many total views you get...or at least a rough idea. Remember though....very few people click through on the article unless it is interesting or leaves the reader wanting more. Hence the need for a blog or website, whereby the article becomes more valuable as a backlink rather than a source of sales.

          that completely original content
Those two statements don't fit to me - if all the info for all your articles is from one book it may be derivative work, not unique content.

If you ignore keyword research, you are missing a big part of what makes article marketing effective.

It doesn't have to be one or the other - make a blog with some and submit some pointing to the blog.

I'm always wary of writing content for my own site and then posting the exact same articles to directories.
You may be "wary" but your fears are groundless and there are many threads here explaining this non-problem.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Not a bad way to start! You can get a feel of how article marketing works...

However, like any skill, you need to optimize the process, that's why you need keyword research.

Dont link directly to CB offers as its not allowded. Submit 200 of them to ezinearticles and the 100 to your blog . Use a nice author bio to drive traffic and also helpful for link building
