hi guys

As crazy as it sounds, I only just discovered the world that is online marketing, but reading around esp here on the Warrior Forums, I'm looking forward to digging in

Anyway, I've recently been playing around with adsense and realize getting good contexual ads depends greatly on your content.

However, I wanted to know are there any other Pay-Per-Click networks out there that allow you to select which ads you want to display?

Perhaps even choosing certain ads for certain url's on your site?

thanks for the help!!

    Hi mnguyen04,

There may be some places that let you select the keywords you want to target, but the advertiser is usually in control of where and when their ads may be placed. Would you advertise on a network where you could not choose where your ads appear?

      Hey dburk

oh man, I totally got confused with my lingo. I meant CPC/CPM networks, not PPC. Sorry. Any networks similar to Adsense.

For example, I'm working on a hobby movie genre site. So my homepage would have a whole bunch of different movies.

But say I wanted to promote say the "Toy Story" movie in the ads, is there any network that allows you to pick ads to show?

      thanks again

        Hi mnguyen04,

Same goes for CPM ads, advertisers get to choose or they are served through an automated script.

You can usually choose your ads for most CPA offers, if you can find a CPA offer you want to target ,and if the vendor accepts, you are good to go.

If you build your website to a very high volume of targeted traffic you can deal directly with the ad managers for products you want to have advertise on your website. They usually won't bother with small publishers, you will need to stick to an ad network until you have a few hundred thousand visitors per month.
