I wanted to start a thread for some that are new to PPC. Us as beginner PPC users need some help in achieving success using affiliate programs. I know there are a ton of people that make $100+ per day with adwords and if you could, share your experience, successes, failures, and advise here.

Its very difficult to tell you exactly what to do for PPC and its just one of those things were you learn by being burnt first. First you learn how to write ads that bring in a good CTR and also making sure your landing pages have relevant keywords you are targetting.

You will soon discover not all keywords are created equal and I highly recommend using the google optimiser as you'll see which keywords are converting and which arent. General rule is go for longer keywords first, actually very long keywords at first and as you get more comfortable with the campaign you can try shorter keywords which normally dont convert very well but its all about you cost. It also helps to keep on top of your budget by using very long tail first when you're learning the ropes

If you improve your CTR and your quality score then cost will go down a bit and this helps in conversion

Now this is only the beggining, you will have to continually tweek your landing or squeeze page for maximim conversion. This isnt any easy job to start with but you'll soon realise what works best for your market...This can be weeks or months of testing to get it right....

I have build my business around PPC and its now I am really diversifying into seo plus I know which keywords convert and these are the ones I am heavily targetting in my seo campaigns.

    Hello Everyone
Effective marketing strategies were shifting from print to the web. We were in the Dark Ages, but after we joined AdWords, we went straight to the Renaissance." The Twiddys haven't abandoned brochures or print advertising but PPC is now their number one marketing channel. "Other advertising methods haven't produced results like AdWords," says Ross. And from 2006 to 2007 online bookings increased by 47%.
People are searching on Google right now for your products and services. PPC offers you a fast and flexible way to reach those potential customers. But PPC is no magic bullet - you must constantly monitor, measure, and tweak your PPC campaigns to make sure they are profitable.

I started one of these yesterday, and it was a real hit. Be careful, I'm still trying to find out how a thread gets 1700 views in 2 days and gets wiped out in 1 minute

I've had a couple of my first $100 days this week all with Adsense niche micro sites. I've broken $70 five times this month.

Before that, my sole IM experience was that I had a blog that did a grand total of $21 with Adsense in two years.

I picked up an ebook (you can read about it in my obnoxiously over-the-top sig below) just over two months ago, put my own spin on it and I've made $2047.12 from then until now (as of this hour).

$309 in September, $807.14 in October and $930.98 thus far in November

that's awesome; i haven't been able to get too much traffic organic; how do you do it? I've been doing article marketing, backlinking, videos, etc. still nothing that huge; under 100 visitors a day for my sites combined.
