1000 backlinks from 1000 blogspot sites... any value in this?

What do you think?

I'm on a spampaign of backlinking and I'm rolling through blogspot at the moment.

What do you think the value is of having a huge number of backlinks from a lot of different blogpost sites?

I know I'm not getting any IP diversity, but, there is some PR to be gained and it's boosting my overall backlink count which should ultimately lead to greater page authority.

I am actually making real comments on blogs that fit my niche so I'm not going nutso berzerko spamming. Being that the content of the pages I'm commenting on also fit my niche I'm also gaining the benefit of relevancy, if that truly exists.

Another reason I'm doing this is because a competitor (being popular and all) has sidebar links on several blogspot blogs so I'm trying to catch up and match similar links.

Ideas?

In my opinion you can't get that much juice from those 1000 back links if all of them are only from blogspot. That's only my opinion...

But still link is still link... so they can still help your site...

Yeah, that is what I am mixed.

Yet, it seems to work well for article marketers who submit hundreds of articles to a few article sites and if I'm not mistaken most of the old backlink goldmine kickapps backlinks were also on a narrow range of IP's

I also forgot to mention, it's a double spam attack...

With the sites I can only post with a blogspot ID, that ID links back to my profile which links to my own blogspot sites with links to my money sites. On the other sites I link via name and url for a direct backlink. So I'm boosting my sites directly and boosting up my support sites as well.

Comment links from Blogger blogs are nofollow by default and won't help you that much. Since it requires a bit of esoteric coding knowledge to change this few Blogger blog owners change to followed comments.

Building a lot of spammy Blogger blogs for yourself to get links to a site used to be an effective gray/black technique in 2006 but Google has pretty much shut this practice down now.

You would be better off seeking out profile links, dofollow comments on self-hosted WordPress blogs, doing social bookmarking and building your own "Web 2.0" supporting sites so that you have a diverse set of links to your site(s).

Don't worry. I've got all of that as well. I did knock out around 50 new support blogs from different hosts earlier today.

I just ended up on a blogspot kick tonight and kinda got carried away with it.

Spreading those 50 blogs to 50 free blog hosted blog I guess is a good start for your seo back bone if you promote those 50 blogs.
