    Link bait is basically an article, post etc. that is designed to "bait" people into responding to it and linking to it from their sites as they express just how much they disagree. Although you can make a "positive" link bait - provide a lot of very useful info in a post so that people link to it saying how informative it is.

      You can also go to digg.com, search your keywords, and find related post that inspire you to create more funny, interesting articles.

      Next, submit your content to top social sites, stumbleupon, facebook, twitter, blogger.com and many more, natural links and traffic will come to your site if you do it right!

      Or you may offer some free software or tools for people to use and download, you will receive a lot of links!

    The most effective type of linkbait (I've found) is a badge or button you personally distribute to sites to get them to link back to you. It takes a lot of work, but if you can take the liberty to write about another website exclusively and give them a postitive review, they'll link to you every time.

    Have the badge with Anchor Text below it link back to your site =)
