Press Release on the first page then deindexed

Hey guys,

Last night I wrote a press release to get it ranked (not for backlinks). Then right after submitting it, I created an RSS feed and submitted it to some directories. The press release was indexed right after the RSS submissions, and it ranked number 9 for my keyword. Unfortunately a few hours later it dropped from the SERPs.
Now it's more than 24 hours later and it still isnt reindexed. 2 websites even picked up my press release and published a blurb with a link to my press release, and those are indexed, but the press release itself isn't.

I'm guessing google hates press releases, it seems like they barely ever index. I'm using free-press-release.com and prlog.com

Any ideas? is this de-indexing part of the google dance? why would I be de-indexed so quickly? if it's not the dance, what should I do to try and get google to crawl it and index it again? (already done RSS submissions)

Thanks a lot,

Edge

Do you guys think that press releases loose value in google's eyes as it becomes older? for example. a press release from this week might rank number 10, and 1 month from now, with all other things being equal. would it probably drop? jsut because it's getting older?

I started backlinking to it. hopefully that gets me re-indexed.
