Have little patience, it may take from one week to 15-16 days to get approval.

I've heard that they are currently experiencing one month delays.

Yes, judging from post on Google's Adsense help forum there is a backlog. It seems to be taking up to a month but a few have been waiting as long as two months.

      Best of luck,

      Crystal

Delays also depends upon your geographic location (Not sure but I heard somewhere). In worst scenarios it may even take more that a month.

Hi guys AdWords approval is almost instantly if you waiting that long here is the
#1 how relevant is your ads to your web page?

#2 Your important keyword phrase needs to appear in your title tag.

      #3
Your title tag must be the first tag following the HTML

      #4
Add keywords to your heading tags on Google pages. Google places a lot of relevance to keywords found in heading tags. Be sure to use your keywords toward the beginning of your heading tags, if at all possible. Warning: Only use one "H1" tag per page.

      All the best

They ask about AdSense - not AdWords

Yes, how can they approve your account if they don't know what your site is about?
Google places ads on your page relevant to your page title.
          Right?
Looking at html source and manual webpages through this forum, many of you don't have a title tag and those of you who have, it's way too low.
And again, many of you don't have keywords. And again those of you who have, there are way too many, which tells the spiders your page is spammy.
All though Google says they don't rank pages due to keywords relevance, Yahoo and MSN (Bing) they do.
And also, does Google, but I won't go into too much detail on this one for now.
Plus, don't use sub-domains if you want to get Google Adsense approval that quick.
And if you are not the registered owners of your domains, you may find your account being suspended for good.
          Only trying to help.
          Thanks,
          Jose Nunes.

I am not familiar with adsense, but Adwords can take a couple weeks. And If your not approved they do not tell you why. It is a ridiculus system.

I have a trick by which your account will get approved very quickly just in 2 days..

Here are the step by step guide:-

The first step, go to google's self blog and register an account.

2nd, add some articles and pictures to your blog.

3rd, click "monetize earning" in the tool bar.

4th, click "creat new adsense account".

    5th, Done.

Now, everything you need to do is wating, about 24 - 48 hours, you will get
approved and have your own Google adsense account.

I do agree with you creating a blogspot blog and submitting it for approval in adsense in the trick for faster approval....Usually the higher approval comes with either health/celebrity blogs
