Ezine Articles - Changing/Editing Links - Good or Bad ?

Hello everyone

I have about 10 ezine articles written by me on a topic that I like with some links to niche sites (un-related to the articles).

The niche sites aren't getting much traffic despite being on the first page of google results.

I was thinking of changing the links in the Ezine articles to try to boost a different site. Since the first page google niche sites aren't making much money I thought there's no point in wasting good Ezine backlinks to them so I might as well change the backlnks. It won't matter if that negatively affects those existing niche sites as they aren't getting traffic anyways.

Is there anything wrong with my reasoning ? Some negative effects that I cannot forsee ?

Thanks

You should be ok. I've done that before - not w/ EZA but with GoArticles.

No there is no problem with changing your links. The ezine isn't concerned about the links.

I want to do this too with one on Ezine.

If I edit the links at the bottom of the live article, do I have to wait another week for it to be re-approved?

      Thanks

Yes, you will need re-approval but it usually only takes a day or two for re-approval in my experience.

If the niche sites aren't getting much traffic from your articles - will changing the url help ? Surely the problem is that people aren't clicking on your links, so it could be your resource box that needs rewriting to make people more inclined to click onto those links. Or have I misunderstood?

But obviously you have to change them if they're not providing any benefit - sometimes a little tweak or two can have amazing effects, don't be afraid to change something that's not working.

From my experience, edited articles are approved much faster than new ones.
