Lots of people have lots of differing ideas, and there is good reason for all points of view. It seems to me that it depends on what you are comfortable with. If you are going after the typical long tail, low hanging fruit theory, then I would say that at least 1,500 to 3,000 per month and 50,000 to as high as 250,000 in competition is what I have seen people recomend.

Now the reason I say this is because I watched a few videos from Brad Gosse today, who has a very different take on it. You can see the videos in another section of this forum in his WSO at this link. http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...oday-only.html

Check out those videos and he will give you a different perspective on this subject. He seems to know his stuff so you might want to take note. The videos are free to watch, whether you buy his product or not.

Sorry that I couldn't give you a better answer, but there is no real answer to this question in my mind. Good luck.

Edit: Typo, changed "per day" to "per month" in the first paragraph.

  • The numbers don't matter much. You can either get your product in front of people that are ready to buy or you can't. It doesn't take a lot of people to make money. But it does take skill to get your offer in front of them.

Focus on conversions. Look at advertisers in the niche do they spend? Then look at the competition and see what they are doing.

Picking an arbitrary number is meaningless.
